The old town of Trogir lies in Croatia, not far away from Split. There are a lot of small alleyways for you to discover. This is the view from the top of the fortress, called Kula Kamerlengo Trogir.

Travel Information

There are several large parking areas, although in high season it can be difficult to find a free spot.
The entrance to the castle is pretty cheap, just make sure that you enter it during the time you wan't to shoot, since you usually can't reenter it again.

@Jürgen: I fixed the spot position and added some details, since you took the main photos from the castle. Would be great though, if you could only add photos to this spot that were taken from nearly the same place, which helps others to find the exact spot. Really nice tele photo from the cathedral by the way!

As far as I know it's not allowed in Croatia. You will definitely need a special permission. I just googled and I even saw a case when somebody was fined after he uploaded a video to YouTube without having a permission, so I guess they care a lot about drones. You are only allowed to fly drones in uninhabited areas without buildings, but you will still need a certificate that's stating, that you are trained to use the device. But maybe you can get good photos from the top of the castle like Jürgen did. The perspective over the city is definitely worth the little entrance fee, especially during sunset.
