Estonia Karjamaa Beach
Lake Peipus (Peipsi järv) is the fifth largest lake in Europe. The border between Estonia and Russia runs through the lake. It is flat, which means that it warms up to over 20°C in summer. There are only sandy beaches on the north bank, otherwise the banks are mostly overgrown with reeds.
The beaches are definitively among the most beautiful in the Baltic States.
To the rear, the beach is lined with pine trees, the roots of which are exposed in the dunes.
