The front view of the beautiful Palace of Versailles in Paris is even visible when the area is already closed. It's an extremely touristic place though, which is not that good for landscape photography.

Photography Tips

In my opinion there is only one good time to be here and this is during the summer at sunset or even sunrise maybe. The reason behind this is, that the sunset is late enough, so that all the tourists will already be gone. Otherwise you have huge (and I really mean huge!) lines of people in front of the palace, waiting for their entrance time.

Travel Information

There is a parking place just right in front of this spot. It's free and empty when you want to photograph this spot outside of the opening times. Otherwise you really have to come pretty early to get a parking space and it wasn't that cheap.
