This spot offers a great view towards Notre Dame in Paris. I also like the natural framing the bridge "Pont Saint-Michel" is offering to the image.

I think everyone will have noticed what happened. It will probably take many years until the church is back as it was before.

Photography Tips

During the day you need a ND filter to get that soft and silky water. Watch out for passing boats and wait until they are gone. You should also take multiple exposures, one for the scene itself and one for the dark parts beyond the bridge. I used luminosity masks to get the details back from a second much longer exposure.

Travel Information

There is a Metro station nearby, called Saint-Michel. You just have to walk down to the Seine by using one of the stairs nearby.
