The Neouvielle natural reserve, next to the french Pyrenees national park is a well known location to shoot natural landscapes, lakes, pines, granite rocks.
This particular spot is located at the western side of the lake.

Photography Tips

Best season is summer, as soon as the road is opened. In early June and July, there will still be snow on the mountains.
This spot is best for sunrise or sunset ; walk around to find nice rocks and pines.

Travel Information

You can go there by car from June to October, between 7PM and 9AM to park your car at the very end of the road. In summer between 9AM and 7PM, you have to pay and park your car near Oredon lake and use a bus to reach the spot.
The road is closed in winter.
