A nice little forest where you can practise cross-country cycling on either large alleys or narrow tracks... but like in any forest, meadow or garden you can also practise macro photography :) ...

Insects, arachnids, wild flowers or wet bryophytes (the latter may even look like dinosaurs ... with a bit of luck!), no need to travel at a time where many countries are under lockdown due to the covid-19 pandemic ... Lie down on the grass, look around at the world in microcosm and start shooting :)

Photography Tips

Wide aperture (e.g. f/2.8 to f/5.6 depending on the size of the subject) and 1:1 macro lens recommended to start exploring this magic world and for some great naturally-blurred backgrounds.

Forget about AF and move to Manual. The extremely limited depth of field is a challenge (less than 1 mm at 1:1 and f/2.8), so it takes time to master macro-photography, but it is really worth trying ... and be careful, it is very easy to get addicted to it ;)

Travel Information

You will get there by car. Lots of parking areas on the forest borders ...

But as said above, any forest, meadow or garden would offer you similar views.
