The Phare de Richard Lighthouse stands at the estuary of Gironde.
Fishing from huts is widespread here. The huts stand on stilts stringed along the shore. On the water side, at a kind of gallows / boom hangs a rectangular, rope-stretched net. When the water level is sufficient, this is let to the ground by means of cable pulls and is quickly pulled up again.
