France Cascade et goufre d'enfer, Luchon, french Pyrénées
This spot is near Bagneres-de-Luchon, in the french Pyrenees. The "goufre d'enfer" area (in english "hell gulf") is in the Lys valley. It is a canyon with many waterfalls and rock formations, and surely an amazing place for hikers and photographers.
Photography Tips
The first waterfall is near the parking lot, you will walk about 10 to 15 minutes. The gulf itself is about an hour from the parking. Here you will see some other waterfalls and two bridges. On the upper side, after two hours walking, you will reach th "Ru d'enfer" which is another canyon.
The best season is spring, as soon as the snow has melt. In July or August, there ar too many people.
