Germany Beehive, Wilseder Berg
A couple of hundred meters south of the view platform there is a beehive which, thanks to a walk path, allows you to get right into the middle of the heather.
Photography Tips
Tripod and GND filter are helpful. Use the beekeeper’s path and make sure you don‘t stand on plants.
Travel Information
When walking from Wilsede walk straight where the path to Wilseder Berg turns off to the right. You‘ll reach the spot after a few hundred meters on your left.
Wilsede is in a nature reserve where no cars are allowed so you need to either stay in the place itself or get here by bike. From Wilsede this spot is only a short walk away (15-20 mins). There are countless bees in the field, which don‘t harm you if you don‘t bother them. Come here in late August/early September for the heath to be in bloom.
