Germany Burgk Castle

In the Thuringian Slate Mountains / Upper Saale nature park (Naturpark Thüringer Schiefergebirge / Obere Saale), the Saale river meanders in many loops. In one of these loops of the Saale, Burgk Castle stands on a rocky plateau on the edge of the small village of the same name. Behind the castle, a short path leads to a small baroque park with a rococo pavilion.
