The library (de: Neue Stadtbücherei) of Augsburg in Germany has a beautiful staircase and stunning interior design in general. Well worth a visit for any architecture or staircase photographer.

One should behave quietly so that no one is disturbed who is reading or working and don't have big bags with you.
