This is a nice spot close to the A5 highway. There you have a lot of space to move around and to get the better spots. There is location close to this one "Raststätte Taunusblick", but with this one, you don't have to deal with the power lines :-)

Photography Tips

I took my 200-600mm to get a moon over sized shot, but it would have been enough to use a 400mm. You'll nee a tripod to get better results. In addition I used Photopills to plan the moon shot. I got some clouds and it didn't work in the way I wanted, but I was able to come around other pictures.

Travel Information

Take highway A66 and drive until the exit to Praunheim, there you look for the "Erdbeerfeld".
