Germany Tatzelwurm Waterfalls

On the approach, the landscape looks as if someone had thrown rocks and boulders at you. The Auerbach stream flows crystal clear through the karst here, cascading down in several drops. In the process, it has carved out a winding gorge whose shape and danger do honour to the Alpine mythical creature Tatzelwurm, a small relative of the dragon and the lindworm.

There is a large parking lot in the woods siutable for a calm overnight.
