Greece Epidauros Ancient Theatre

Epídauros is the best preserved ancient theatre in Greece. It is impressive, not only by its size with 14,000 seats, but also by some technical finesse of the 2300 year old building. For example, the acoustics are perfect right up to the last row; for the rare rain here, the seats are slightly inclined so that the water drains downwards and through openings in the ground.
