Greece Messolongi
The salt, gathered near Messolongi as large heaps, is extracted from seawater in the adjoining saltwater basin. A part of these basins is obviously taken out of production and left to nature. Reddish plants that tolerate salt (from afar similar to heather) have conquered some areas. Various waterfowls are living here: small waders in large swarms and flamingos, some of which (not yet) have red feathers.
