Hong Kong Victoria Peak
Victoria Peak and the Peak Tower offer stunning views of Hong Kong Island and Kowloon on the Mainland side of Hong Kong. Viability can be impaired due to smog though, so adjust expectations accordingly.
You need to grab what you can; I had a clear view but just as I got the light I wanted, a cloud of mist came over the hill. and across the view.

Photography Tips
A tripod and long exposure are useful here. Try to go up at blue hour (if you have one on a smogless day). If you have a very smoggy day like we did night is better, as you can see the lights better in the dark.
There is competition for the best spot so I'd recommend getting there at about 3:00 (yes, really) and setting your tripod up. The wait is not a hardship - there is plenty to take in while you wait.

Travel Information
Going up by tram is great but the queues can be so long that you miss the golden hour. Taxis are the easier alternative but you still need to buy a ticket to get into the facility. The area for these shots costs a bit more.
