This spot on top of the hill has the Frozen lake ((not frozen in summer ;-) ) on one side and a large set of volcanoes on the other side leading to many panoramas.

Photography Tips

The wide angle at first with multiple shots for a panorama but as well as telephoto to isolate some colour details of moss and lava.

Travel Information

This is on the main 4X4 track from the north entrance to the Landmannalaugar centre, and can't be missed.
