Iceland Kirkjufell Waterfall with Kirkjufell
A small beautiful waterfall is in the foreground with the stunning mountain "Kirkjufell" in the back. Probably the most famous spot for photographers in Iceland. During the winter season, this spot is also very popular for getting great shots of an aurora borealis.

Get here early or there will only be bad spots left to take pictures as at sunset there are tons of photographers around this spot.
Travel Information
You should get there by car and parking is available. It now costs 700 ISK for 24 hours, no matter how long you stay. The parking lot is camera-controlled, so once you enter, you have to pay at the payment machine later on, because it recognizes your license plate.
It's also possible to leave your car a bit further away and walk to the spot if you have the time and don't want to pay the recently introduced fee for parking at Kirkjufell.
