Iceland Krafla Geothermal Power Plant
Krafla is not only the name of a dangerous volcano but also of thge biggest geothermal power station of Iceland. At many places the hot underground is drilled in. From the distance, the steam columns of the power plant fill the sky, especially in cold weather. The closer you get, the more the transmission lines, individual small power plant buildings, pipelines and the steaming wastewater stream characterize the picture. It looks like a technical landscape.
