Iceland Berserk Lava Field
The 4000-year-old lava field Berserk lava (Berserkjahraun) interspersed with rows of craters is an extraordinary hostile „moon landscape“. Approperiately, there is a murderous one of the Icelandic sagas about it.
Some water flows in a depression; green moss has spread there.
Although the area is not beautiful in the literal sense, it is fascinating. I consider it one of the most underrated attractions in Iceland.
