Iceland Innra-Hvannagil Gorge
Innra Hvannagil is a gorge washed out by a stream. The mountains on both sides of the gorge consist of yellow to ochre coloured rocks, that obviously continiously trickle down as gravel and build surprisingly smooth slopes. “Troll walkways“ (dykes of especially hard rock) running at right angle to the flow the stream has sawed within time.
