A few kilometres east of Landmannalaugar, the road Fjallabacksleið Nyðri / F 208 leads in a large zigzag loop from a stream valley up to a hill (or down to the stream valley coming from the east). On the hill there are this and other great views of the volcanic landscape of the Icelandic highlands.
