I arrived at the spot it was blowing a gale with rain threatening and as you can see from the clouds it did start raining. I was the only person at the spot for most of the time which is quite scary with the wind blowing so hard. The other couple arrived just before the rain started.
Photography Tips
Use a tripod and you need to hold the tripod down as the wind is quite strong. Be careful with all your items as they can blow away.
Travel Information
The location is about 20 minutes drive from Ballina and 5 mins from Ballycastle. The parking is free about 500 metres from the spot. You need to go through 2 sets of farm gates to get to the spot
