This road is regularly under water, twice a day, at high tide. And twice a day for a few hours it is passable. Then road vehicles can reach Omey Island.

Monthly tables with the high and low tide times are posted in a showcase; and the advice to be back from the island at least three hours before the next high tide. Driving on the beach is also prohibited, so the signposted road must be followed.
