Ireland St. Johns Point, Donagal
The lighthouse is a particularly beautiful specimen. Young bulls graze around it. And best of all is the breathtaking rocky coastline of St. Johns Point.
Travel Information
At the Parking St. Johns Point at the end of St. Johns Point Beach (see photo behind the scene), a gate blocks the further way with signposts: Private land / Private road / No unauthorised vehicles / No unauthorised entry / Beware of the bull!
I asked a driver getting out of his car and opening the gate to drive through, who is authorised. He told me that if you are respectful of the land and the grazing animals, you can pass through to the lighthouse; he just wanted to go there with his dog.
