Beautiful fairytale castle in top condition directly at the seaside. A top spot.

Photography Tips

You never get there without people on the site. So best take a long time exposure with a tripod and an ND filter. Crowdy in summertime, better in winter. Located in a huge park with rare trees, also worth a visit. You can get near the castle only during opening times of the park,so inform yourself, otherwise you can't enter.

Travel Information

There is a bus from the center of Trieste going there (ca. 6 km). Parking lots (fee) available, but in limited number.
