I was looking for a spot that offered a good view of the castle without the modern tents and distracting painted walls of nearby buildings.

Photography Tips

I used the trees or aligned the view to hide the distractions. cross lighting from sunset may also work (noted for my next visit.) The surrounding mountain height leads to dark spots on the west side in afternoons and dark spots on the east side in the mornings.

parking can be busy. walking around is worth the effort.
