Italy Monte Bolza
Monte Bolza (1,902 m a.s.l.) is a mountain of the Gran Sasso d'Italia, in the province of L'Aquila.
Included in the territory of the municipality of Castel del Monte, it borders to the east with the southern part of the Campo Imperatore plateau (Fonte Vetica), while to the south and west with the Tirino Valley and the Navelli plateau; on the southern edge it is separated from Monte Capo di Serre by the Capo di Serre pass, while to the north it forms a ridge line up to the Cima dei Monti di Bolza.

Travel Information
From Rome: A24 motorway to the L'Aquila Est exit, take the SS17 state road towards Pescara for about 15 kilometers to Barisciano. Continue along the provincial road for Castel del Monte (20Km). From Pescara: A25 motorway to Rome to the Bussi Popoli exit, then the SS153 towards L'Aquila for approximately 15 km, until the junction for Ofena-Castel del Monte. There turn to Castel del Monte and continue straight.
After Castel del Monte, towards Campo Imperatore, continue for about 1 km until you reach a bend with a large square on the right, just before the barrier that closes the road in case of snow.
