Italy Gangi

Gangi is a charming hilltop town in central Sicily, known for its well-preserved medieval architecture and stunning views of the Madonie Mountains. It is part of the Parco delle Madonie, a UNESCO-protected area rich in natural beauty. Gangi’s historic center features narrow streets, stone houses, and beautiful churches, with the Palazzo Bongiorno being one of the main attractions. The town is also famous for its annual festivals and traditional Sicilian culture, including folk music and local crafts. Gangi has earned recognition as one of Italy’s Borghi più belli (most beautiful villages), attracting visitors with its authentic, picturesque atmosphere.

Take your time and find the best spots to take your images. Every season has its specialities, although I prefer spring.

You can reach easily by car via the SS120. Bus service is regular, but takes a lot of time.
