Italy Scilla
Scilla, in Calabria, near the toe of the Italian peninsula, is a beautiful fishing village wedged between the sea and the mountains that descend steeply to the coast. A rocky promontory topped by a castle divides the town into two with the touristy section on the west and a delightful fishing village on the east. A road tunnel connects the two.
Walking the length of the fishing village to the east of the castle promontory is highly recommended. This scene is just one of many photographic opportunities.
