Italy View to the west from Ponte dell'Accademia, Venice
The Ponte dell'Accademia is one of four bridges spanning the Grand Canal and connecting Campo S. Vidal with Campo della Carità , and the Sestieri San Marco with Dorsoduro. It owes its name to the Gallerie dell'Accademia, Venice's most important collection of paintings, located on Campo della Carità .
