Latvia Krāslava Daugava View

The Daugava, the largest river in Latvia, has been straightened behind Daugavpils and dammed a few times. Before that, from Kraslava onwards, it winds in a few natural loops, the so-called Daugavas loki.
To ensure that they are properly appreciated, there is a very high observation tower outside of Kraslava. From this imposing wooden structure you have a beautiful view over the surrounding trees to one of the river bends.

There is space for parking below the tower.
