Lithuania Bitėnai Stork colony

Bitėnai is a small lithuanian village at the river Nemunas (German: Memel), which here is the border with the Russian exclave Kaliningrad. In the village and mainly in the trees next to the village there are more than 20 Stork nests. What makes this location even more special is the fakt that more than one Stork pair nest in one tree.

Storks are flying and landing every now and then. A tele lens is useful. To focus the Storks in flight, a short exposure time and continuous autofocus are helpful.
