Mauritius Flat Island

Flat and Gabriel Island impress with incredible fine white sand, crystal-clear water and a great offshore reef that is well worth snorkeling in. With a bit of luck, you might come across octopods or turtles.

The islands are very busy and full of people who are brought to the islands by the respective boats. So take advantage of the time slot and pay close attention when people are called for lunch so that you have the tongue to yourself.

Also coordinate the flight with the drone with the island's wardens. Simply ask your boat crew who will then guide you to the people (Status 12/24).

Almost all tours can be booked via Tripadvisor or locally with the providers in Grand Baie. The hotels also offer the opportunity to make contact with various providers.

The tour lasts around half a day. Both Flat Island and Gabriel Island are visited.

Due to the sometimes high waves, it is advisable to have a change of clothes with you in case you get wet. You should also not forget your sunscreen.
