Mongolia Turgen waterfall

On the foothills of the so called area "Small Switzerland" in western Mongolia you will find this beautiful and peaceful little waterfall. It has two drops, the bigger one is 23m high.

Use a high shutter speed to freeze the motion of there waterfall (1/400 sec).

In order to get here, you need a car. Either you rent one yourself or you get a driver. Recommended is a proper 4x4 car. To enter this area, you need a border permit to the Chinese border. There are checkpoints around the lakes before you pass the bridge.

Parking is at the designated camping spots. From there, you need to hike for around 3.5-4km to the waterfall.
