Golden Rock in sunset In Myanmar (Burma), there is much to be admired. Thus, for example, the "Golden Rock". Between Bago and Tathon, about halfway, lies the small town Kyaikhtyio, there begins the ascent to Kyaikhtyio Pagoda. She is also known as "Golden Rock Pagoda". The pagoda itself is only about 5 meters high, and she balances on a golden rock. This rock will according to the beliefs of the Burmese kept in balance from three Hair from Buddha. The pagoda is one of the largest Buddhist sanctuaries in Myanmar.
