Netherlands Tulip fields forever
Unlike the northern part of the province South-Holland, this place is a gem and devoid from the mass tourists who much to the dismay of the Tulip growers, walk on the paths without regard to fear of contamination of their precious harvest. You barely find here tourists and those who do come here, love nature and respect it, and that includes photographers who stick to the rules.
Photography Tips
First and foremost, to avoid giving the growers a fit, please do not enter the fields in between the tulip-beds but stay on the sidelines.
Come mid April (last week of April the latest).
Bring a tripod.
Because of the position of the paths, one can photograph both when the sun is behind you and infront of you.
The entire polder of Goeree-Overflakkee is at this period a huge carpet of tulips, so do drive around.
