As you walk away from the Icebreakers, take the path to the Lighthouse along the dike. This spot is actually much better for sunrise as it is situated on the eastern part of the peninsula but if you make sure you look back during sunset, you are guaranteed some spectacles.

Travel Information

You can access Marken by car but you must part at the entrance to the village. From there, it is a beautiful walk of about 25-30 minutes.
