Afferdse Duinen is a part of NP De Maasduinen in the northern part of Limburg in the Netherlands. It's a area with a variety of landscapes: forest, water pools, and heather (with some rolling hills). It offers views that are good enough to photograph during the entire day, yet sunset might be the best time to shoot. The best time is in August and September, when the heather plants bloom.
