This place has some of the most diverse amount of mushrooms in the general area. Excellent macro photography.

Photography Tips

Take your macro lens with you on this trip and don't hesitate to close the aperture to F/16. The larger the shroom, the more you should close up the aperture to make an image sharp.

Travel Information

Park near "Duinoord", Den Helder and head north. The entrance to the forest is right alongside the restaurant. It's a good spot for a bite and drink afterwards as well, since it's open untill late.
