Netherlands 'Duinen van Den Helder'
The dunes near Den Helder are dotted with amazing sites for landscape photography. From near the road, all the way to the sea, opportunities exist to capture great photos of the night sky and setting sun especially. Foxes and lots of rabits live here as well and you can always watch for the sun setting behind the horizon at sea.
Photography Tips
Nightscape photography is about capturing the landscape in your star shots without the stars trailing. Start by mounting the camera on a tripod and maximizing the exposure length to 30 seconds. A high ISO helps, but a wide open (f/2.8 or larger) aperture more so.
