This is a rather typical scene in Frisia (Friesland). Rows of planted hardwood, along a path that seemingly leads to nowhere. Amazing photo opportunities arise here with many intimate landscape shots to be found among beautiful beech trees.

Photography Tips

A low point of view usually works well when working with wide-angle lenses and converging lines in a landscape scene. Watch for the legs (and shadows!) of your tripod when you attempt these and aim upwards for an overwhelming experience for the viewer.

Travel Information

Parking is available near the camping, with plenty of food and drink choices. Perfect for a daytrip in the Frisian countryside! Don't forget to bring watertight hikers or wellies (rainboots).
