Netherlands The Start-Tower
Important Information: We got the information, that the Start-Tower no longer exists.
As soon as you climb up the dike at the harbor of Scharendijke, this Start-Tower with its two tall masts stands out immediately. The tower is situated on a breakwater that was (still is?) used for hoisting signal flags during sailing competitions. The area is also a favorite spot for divers.

Photography Tips
This is a sunset spot but for BNW long-exposure photos you may shoot during the daytime with your filters.
A 24-70mm is fine. A tripod is a must. Bring along a torch, minutes after sunset you will need a torch to find your way and your belongings. Watch out walking up and down the stairs with your gear - they are very steep.
