The Lek River is one of the major Dutch rivers. Flood plains and breakwaters lie along this river. Between the places Culemborg and Everdingen you have a beautiful view of the railway bridge at Culemborg from one of the dams.

Photography Tips

The best time to photograph in this place is during the blue hour and sunrise. Especially when mist hangs over the water, this produces very beautiful misty images.

Travel Information

Follow the Lekdijk from Vianen to Fort Everdingen. There is a small parking lot there. Follow the path down all the way to the river.
