Netherlands Flowering heather on the Treekerheide

In the month of August the heather flowers purple in many places in the Netherlands. This is also the case on the Treekerheide near Woudenberg. Especially in the early morning around sunrise is the best time to photograph the blooming heather. When the temperature at night is lower than during the day, there is a chance that mist will form. Together with the blistering heather, this makes for the most beautiful shots.
