Looking for some wildlife in the dunes of The Netherlands? Rent yourself a bike and cruise along the bicycle lanes. On this evening I saw around 15 deer on different sites. You will also have the chance to enter some less crowded beaches from this route.

Photography Tips

Come in the early morning or late evening for a better chance to see wildlife. Bring your tele zoom lens since you can't get to close to the animals without disturbing them. Please don't pass any signs or fences into areas you are not supposed to go since its still a nature reserve.

Travel Information

You can park either in Noordwijk or Katwijk. rent a bike to cruise through the nature reserve!
