Netherlands Mill of Veere (De Koe) from parking

This spot offers quite a nice view of De Koe, the windmill in Veere which was built in 1909. If you have little time and want to visit Veere anyway this is a great view. Otherwise, the view from the West with the water in the foreground is probably the better spot for a photo.

Photography Tips

Pay attention to the framing, Placing the windmill in the center of your photo already makes quite a big difference and since it's a bit further away you might need a zoom lens or walk a bit closer. If you stay further away you could place your camera in the grass and use it as a blurred foreground element which would give your photo another dimension and therefore more depth.

Travel Information

Veere is worth a visit anyway and this spot is directly at the parking area outside the city. It's not free parking but the pricing is reasonable for a short stay.
