The Northsea side of the Island is great for sunsets, the Waddesea side is great for sunrises.

Travel Information

To come to Ameland you have to take the ferry from Holwerd. (Friesland) The ferry takes you to Ameland in about 45 minutes. Parking is at the ferry, you can rents bikes on Ameland.
