Best views looking down on Christchurch. The car park is at the bottom of the TV tower. Walk up the hill from the car park fro views down to the harbor entrance. Good spot for Sunsets and any time of year. Anytime but summer for sunrise as it rises on the other side of the hill.

Under expose a red sky by a stop to bring the color out.

Travel Information

Turn off Summit road to head up to the car park. It is not marked or sign posted. The car park is locked at night due to idiots. Take care at any remote location if by yourself.
