New Zealand Lindis Pass
The highest point on New Zealand's South Island's expressway network is Lindis Pass, a 971 meter high saddle between the Lindis Valley and the Ahuriri River Valley. The dramatic pass connects Central Otago with the Mackenzie Basin. Characteristic of the Lindis Pass are gently rolling mountains, which are covered for miles almost exclusively by Tussock (tussock grass / tuft grass). This looks a bit like a fur.
